I will have limited availability this week because my little Gabe is going to start Kindergarten on Monday next week :( We are going to do some super special mommy/son and family fun stuff and lots of extra cuddling this week. So, if you're trying to reach me I will get back to you but it might just be a little slower than normal.

Thanks!
These two kiddos were so funny! They kept me on my toes and on the move, but we had a great time during our session at the Boise Depot. Ready for the cuteness ....

Here's big brother with a missing tooth and a huge smile!

Hi all, I am currently experiencing some problems on the blog at www.tiffanyhixblog.com. I have changed the link from my website to point back here for now so that I can update when it's working correctly again. Sorry for the trouble. The whole moving the blog to a new server has not worked quite the way it should have yet.
I shot a beautiful, small, intimate wedding on Friday night that was just fabulous! The bride and groom have known each other since 7th grade and have a gorgeous 8 week old baby girl. What an adorable little family they have and they are so loving! Total number of people in attendance ... 16, including me, my assistant and the officiating judge. I love small weddings!

Big thanks to my assistant for the evening, Brandy, you're the best!!

And, on to the sneak peek!

Two families with 4 kids in a row ... how fun! These kids were great and so relaxed during the session. And, Mom did a great job of coordinating clothing without making everyone look matchy matchy. We had a great time walking around the Boise Depot.

These kids were just so cool and fun! I just love it when kids are so relaxed and natural while they are being photographed ... it makes amazing images. I had a great time photographing this family at their North End home. I swear, every time I go to the North End I wish I lived on that end of town. Â It's so quiet with lots of big trees and great shade. Thank you for a wonderful session!!

Now, for the sneak peek ... don't all of these kids have the most beautiful lips?!

I'm feeling like a bad mommy for not blogging this sooner but my little Gabe lost his first tooth last Sunday (7/27/08) while drinking a cup of milk. We had been telling him all day long that he just needed to give his tooth a little tug and it would come out but he did not want to do it. Not even Pappy could convince him otherwise. After dinner with Grandma & Pappy we came home and sure enough, that tooth popped right out on it's own and landed on his shirt. He was so excited. We put the tooth in water until bedtime and then into a plastic baggie and under the pillow. The magical tooth fairy came and left him a nice crispy one dollar bill. I was up before him the next morning (which doesn't usually happen) and he came out of his room and said, "Hey mom, you gotta see this!" I said, "What is it?" to which he replied, "The tooth fairy came and used magic to put a one dollar under my pillow and I saw her" (uh oh thoughts were swirling through my head because he did stir a little when the "tooth fairy" did the switcheroo). I asked him what she looked like and he said, "I don't know I was asleep but I saw her use magic" (whew)!

Now, I can't really say that I could have blogged this with photos much sooner because Gabe did not want to have a picture taken and would run off every time I tried to get out the camera. I finally got him in front of the camera, mostly willingly (only a minor bribe to play the wii with him), on Saturday (8/2/08).

So, here he is with a missing tooth and looking oh so proud!!!

and this one doesn't show off his missing tooth but it is totally "him" ... you know those things your kids do that just make them "them" ... this is one of Gabe's :)

I have so many sneak peeks that I am getting backed up on so look for more frequent blog posts for the rest of the week and next week too!!

Enjoy!
I know these guys have been waiting ever so patiently and longer than normal for this sneak peek and I'm sorry for that!! Without further ado ...

The grandparents ... aren't they just adorable!!

Mr. "M" - isn't he handsome? I think he looks so dashing in this one.

And Miss "A" ... she has grown so much since I photographed her as a newborn. I just love to watch kids grow through my lens :) She was so happy and smiley the whole time.

We went to Idaho Falls over the 4th of July and my sister-in-law and I wanted to make sure to get a portrait of the 3 younger cousins together. I think they look pretty darn sweet (even though Gabe has goofy, super long hair)!

And then here is one of my neice, too. Isn't she beautiful?!!
